Alliance members are committed to a common purpose – working together to amplify early childhood voices and influence policy making in order to realize the promise of every Vermont child. We are grateful for the work of our members who advanced this vision in 2019. We hope you will join us in 2020 to build on the past year’s efforts and support several new initiatives. These will be featured in our ‘20 Legislative Agenda, which will be released in the coming days.
The Alliance’s diverse coalition of members come from communities around the state that inform solutions to our health, safety, food security, economic security, and early care and education challenges. The Alliance is committed to bringing these perspectives to the State House and strengthening members’ advocacy voices along the way.

Strategic Partners – Welcoming Funders and Others to our Table
In addition to our individual and organizational members, the Alliance collaborates with our Strategic Partners. These are agencies or departments of state government, advisory groups formed by state action, and funder entities working in the early childhood policy area. They are eligible to register as non-dues-paying, non-voting Strategic Partners of the Alliance. Becoming a Strategic Partner is a visible recognition of shared goals and good-will partnership on policymaking efforts. Strategic Partners support the Alliance’s work on early childhood issues during the legislative session through information exchanges, cooperative monitoring of issues being deliberated by legislators, and discussions about policy development.
